Can I open a joint account?

Opening a joint account is currently not possible with Sogexia. However, there is an alternative for sharing your account with your partner or another trusted person.

Alternative: Secondary card for your partner

Although the account is solely in your name, you have the option to order a secondary card in the name of your partner or another person of your choice. This allows both of you to have a card linked to the same account for making payments and withdrawals.

How the secondary card works

  • Access to the main account: The secondary card is directly linked to the balance of your main account. All transactions made with this card will be deducted from the single account balance.
  • Transaction tracking: Transactions made with the secondary card will appear in your account history, allowing you to track all operations.
  • Card limits: The secondary card shares the same limits and fees as your primary card. However, you cannot set individual limits for each card; both cards share the same global limits.
  • Responsibility: As the account holder, you are responsible for all transactions made with the secondary card.
  • Limited access: The person using the secondary card does not have access to your online account and therefore cannot directly check the balance or view transactions.
