Yes, SEPA B2B (business-to-business) direct debits can be received on your Sogexia account. This type of direct debit is intended for businesses and is commonly used by public administrations (e.g., URSSAF, tax authorities) to collect contributions. A key characteristic of B2B direct debits is that they are non-refundable once accepted.
How to identify a B2B Business-to-Business mandate?
SEPA B2B direct debits are often used by institutional creditors and can be identified by the mention "B2B" in the transaction description. It is important to note that these direct debits, once accepted, are not eligible for refunds.
Pre-registration of the B2B mandate
It is essential that the B2B mandate is registered on your account before the first direct debit is presented. If the mandate is not registered in advance, the direct debit will be automatically rejected.
Steps to register a B2B mandate:
- Log in to your online account.
- Go to the Direct Debits tab in the main menu.
- Select B2B Mandates.
- Click on New B2B Mandate and follow the indicated steps.
- Upload a copy of the mandate signed with your creditor.
Once the mandate is validated by our team, B2B direct debits will be authorised.
Sogexia does not support issuing B2B direct debits
Please note that Sogexia does not provide a solution for collecting B2B direct debits, which means you cannot issue B2B direct debits to charge your clients via Sogexia. As a result, Sogexia does not issue SEPA Creditor Identifiers (SCI).
